Trained at Cours Florent from 2016 to 2019 then a student of the Classe libre promotion XL, Suzanne Jouannet was spotted by an agent during a play. He offered him the chance to be cast for a feature film. Although she had no experience in front of the camera and had never been cast, the young woman sent a video of her attempts and landed the leading female role in Yvan Attal ‘s Choses Humaines . Taken from the eponymous novel by Karine Tuil, this drama confronts the points of view of a young man accused of rape and that of his alleged victim. For her film debut, Suzanne Jouannet distinguished herself in an ambiguous role opposite renowned actors such as Charlotte Gainsbourg , Mathieu Kassovitz and Pierre Arditi .
